About This App

Pittsburgh is famously known as "The City of Bridges" with approximately 446 bridges — more than any other city in the world. This app was built as a family project after moving to Pittsburgh. My daughter was so excited about all the bridges that we decided to see how many we could cross during our time living here.

Whether you're a lifelong Pittsburgher or new to the city, grab your family and see how many you can find! 🏆

How to Use

🗺️ Map — Shows all Pittsburgh bridges. Your live location appears as a blue dot. Gray markers are uncrossed, gold markers are crossed. Tap any bridge for details.
📍 Nearest Bridge — The card at the bottom of the map shows the closest uncrossed bridge and your distance from it. Tap Navigate for turn-by-turn directions.
✅ Check In — When you're near a bridge, open its info card and tap Check In to mark it crossed.
🏆 Collection — View your progress, filter bridges by neighborhood or type, and sort your list however you like.
🏅 Badges — Earn achievements for milestones like crossing all the river bridges or exploring 10 different neighborhoods.
🔍 Search — Find any bridge by name or neighborhood.
📤 Backup & Restore — Export your check-in data to save a backup, or import a previous backup to pick up where you left off — great for switching devices.
📊 Share — Generate a shareable progress card to show friends and family how many bridges you've crossed.
